Hour of Code

The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ counties. Anyone, anywhere can organize an Hour of Code event. One-hour tutorials are available in over 45 languages. No experience needed. Ages 4 to 104.

We hosted a public Hour of Code event on Saturday, December 1, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m in White Hall on the Downtown Morgantown West Virginia University campus.

Coding/Computer Science Summit

On February 2, 2018, CodeWV partnered with The Education Alliance and The WVU Center of Excellence in STEM Education to host a coding/computer Science Summit at the BridgeValley Advanced Technology Center in South Charleston, WV. The convening results are conveyed in a report developed by the Education Alliance.
