CS Principles (9-12)
This workshop focuses on curriculum that will introduce students to the foundational concepts of computer science while challenging them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. The coursework can be taught as an AP®course. Complete the 5-day summer program, along with 4 follow up sessions in your region (on Saturdays), with continued professional development and resources.
CodeWV offers full scholarships for West Virginia teachers who join the CS Principles workshop this summer. It includes teaching materials, workshop supplies, nine days of professional development, and meals. Additional travel costs, such as lodging and mileage, are covered as needed.
This course is approved as an AP Summer Institute by the West Virginia Department of Education and the College Board.
